Description :
It all happened in a fictional city called FK City. After an incident of a mystrious explosion happened. There was a chemical leak, many citizens reported sickness, but everyone ended up fine and health, so the incident were forgotten when time past by.

Yet things didn’t end, as a group of people with super power appeared. They were able to transform themselves into different characters from various anime / game series, and they are able to use the power from these characters. People called them Super Cosplayers(SC in short). As the number of SCs kept growing, some of them formed an anti-government organization called “The BR”. The BR then started to cause troubles in FK City, while the army from the government cannot suppress this overwhelming power with normal equipments.

Fortunately, there were also a group of SCs that stood on the side of the government(which are the playerble characters). They teamed up and helped to strike against The BR, and they successfully put an end to the chaos.

After the incident, the government of FK City found the power of SCs was way too dangerous, so laws were set up to restrict SCs to use their powers in public places. Yet things still didn’t went well for long. Not after one year, the SCs started to feel depressed and dissatisfied due to the laws’ pressure. But right before the SCs turned hostile again, “Z Corp.” appeared and called off the 1st S.C.W.U. Contest, allowing SCs to use their powers in the ways they wanted in this contest.

The Hidden Truths: (The followings are spoilers of the main storyline of the game) The mystrious explosion at the beginning of the story, was in fact a failure of an underground experiment on “psycho-materialization”. Z-Mega(aka Shin-Z) wanted to create a next-generation psychic soldier army in order to take over the world. The ability of “cosplaying” was simply an unexpected, but still a benefitial result of this experiment. Alpha(original name: Warren) was the experiment subject #1, which was marked as a “failure” due to the fact that Alpha is unable to control his power. Zenka, the only daughter of Z-Mega, was the second test subject, which the result was successful.

Still Z-Mega needed to get rid of Alpha, and he actually decided to terminate Alpha by releasing poisonous gas into his room. However, Alpha went on rampage before he actually got poisoned. He caused that “mystrious explosion” to destroy the whole facility and escaped. The remaining chemicals leaked out and gave the power of “psycho-materialization” to citizens in FK City, resulting in large number of SCs.

As Z-Mega had already built up his own army before Alpha escape, the explosion didn’t stop Z-Mega’s plan of world invasion. He set up The BR and claimed war to the world. But he underestimated the power of “new version” SCs, and was defeated before he actually took over one city.

After his defeat, Z-Mega still didn’t give up his plan. He re-appeared in the name of “Z Corp.” and called off the 1st S.C.W.U. Contest. The contest seemed to be a relief for SCs’ depressed powers, but in fact Z-Mega wanted to recruit(brain wash) the best SCs from the contest in order to help him on his evil plan, as well as searching for Alpha.
